Supply Chain Analyst (Logistics Analyst) (Multiple openings)

DUTIES: Interpret data on logistics elements, such as availability, maintainability, reliability, supply chain management. Apply analytic methods or tools to understand, predict, or control logistics operations or processes. Maintain databases of logistics information. Remotely monitor the flow of vehicles or inventory, using Web-based logistics information systems to track vehicles or containers. Prepare reports on logistics performance measures. Enter logistics-related data into databases. Maintain logistics records in accordance with corporate policies. Monitor industry standards, trends, or practices to identify developments in logistics planning or execution. Confer with logistics management teams to determine ways to optimize service levels, maintain supply-chain efficiency, or minimize cost. Communicate with or monitor Couriers and dock workers. Route or reroute drivers in real time with remote route navigation software and global positioning systems (GPS) to improve operational efficiencies. Recommend improvements to existing or planned logistics processes/routes. Provide ongoing analyses on delivery processes. Track product flow from origin to final delivery. Monitor inventory transactions at facilities. Write or revise standard operating procedures for logistics processes. Ensure corporate policies are properly implemented and monitored. Compute reporting metrics, on KPIs such as signature, Pick up and proof of placement compliance. Offered Wage: $105,394/yr. Benefits include Health insurance (After 90 Days Probation), Dental and Vision, 6 Paid Holidays, 5 PTO Days (After 90 Days Probation), Bonuses based on Performance. Location: Bethesda MD.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 4 Years Related Experience (including Supply Chain Management or logistics operations experience in logistics company such as DHL, Fedex, and/or other Freight service companies)
